The short version
- Our lessons and examples are free and ad-free. That will not change.
- We never accept payment to publish, rank or remove a lesson.
- Occasionally a lesson may contain an affiliate link. If it does, we say so on that page.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a normal link with a small tracking tag. If you click it and buy the product, the vendor pays us a small commission at no extra cost to you. We use this to help cover hosting and tooling costs.
When we use them
We only add an affiliate link when we genuinely recommend the product and it adds value to the lesson — for example, linking the official documentation, a tool we use in examples, or a book we actually learned from. Affiliate relationships never change our editorial opinion; we’ll say when something isn’t worth your money.
Sponsored content
Sponsored posts are labelled as sponsored at the top of the page. We do not currently accept them, and if we ever do, they will be clearly marked and kept to a strict standard.
Your choices
You are never obligated to buy anything. If you’d rather not use an affiliate link, search for the product yourself or use the official documentation link instead.
