About CodeCraft Academy
Last updated August 2026
CodeCraft Academy is a free, ad-free learning site for people who want to write real code. We teach HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL and more through short, practical tutorials with examples you can run right in your browser — no sign-up, no paywall, no locked lessons.
Why we exist
Most coding tutorials fall into one of two traps: they’re either glossily superficial, or so dense they read like a reference manual. We aim for the middle — lessons that explain why something works, show a small runnable example, and then point you to the next step. Learning to code is a skill, and skills are built with small, repeated, deliberate practice.
What we teach
- Structured courses with a sensible order — start at module one and work through.
- Interactive code blocks — edit an example, run it, and see the output immediately.
- A blog for deeper dives, opinions, and behind-the-scenes notes from the team.
How lessons are made
Every lesson is written by a developer and then passes an editorial review before it is published (see our editorial policy). We keep lessons short, verify every example runs, and update content when the underlying technology changes.
Free, forever
CodeCraft Academy is free to read. We don’t sell your data and we don’t gate content behind a subscription. If you want to support us, share a lesson you found useful, or report an error so we can fix it faster.
