A snippet for Properties in a ViewModel
If you are using MVVM you probably should create a snippet very similar to the following to save time.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VC#\Snippets\1033\Visual C#\propvm.snippet
<CodeSnippets xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/2005/CodeSnippet"> <CodeSnippet Format="1.0.0">

propvm
<Shortcut>propvm</Shortcut>
Code snippet for property and backing field for a ViewModel that calls NotifyPropertyChanged.

<SnippetTypes> <SnippetType>Expansion</SnippetType> </SnippetTypes>
<Snippet> <Declarations> <Literal>
<ToolTip>Property type</ToolTip> <Default>int</Default> </Literal> <Literal>
<ToolTip>Property name</ToolTip> <Default>MyProperty</Default> </Literal> </Declarations>
public $type$ $property$ { get { return _$property$;} set { _$property$ = value; NotifyPropertyChanged("$property$"); } } private $type$ _$property$; $end$
</Snippet> </CodeSnippet> </CodeSnippets>
